Underwater cameras cannot see through unlimited mud, algae or suspended sediment. SubSight performs best in clear to moderately stained water. In darker or dirtier conditions, position the camera closer to the area you want to inspect. Visibility varies with depth, light, water clarity and camera direction.

Is SubSight a sonar fish finder?
No. SubSight is a live underwater camera system. It shows recognizable underwater visuals instead of sonar arches or returns.
Do I need a phone, Wi-Fi or an app?
No. The underwater camera connects directly to its dedicated display for simple, phone-free viewing.
Can I use it from a boat, kayak, dock or shore?
Yes. Lower the camera wherever you can safely position the display and cable to inspect nearby structure, vegetation and fish activity.
Will it work in muddy water?
Visibility depends on water clarity. Clear and moderately stained water provides the best view. In muddy conditions, keep the camera closer to the target area.
Can it replace my mounted fish finder?
SubSight is best used as a visual scouting and learning tool. It complements sonar but does not replace GPS, mapping or navigational sonar.
What can I inspect besides fish?
